Ecommerce websites in Nigeria
A store buyers can finish on a phone
A store that looks expensive and fails on checkout is worse than a simple WhatsApp line. Charis Blueweb Ltd builds ecommerce sites from 27 Adebajo Street, Kongi, Bodija, Ibadan where product pages, cart, and pay-on-phone are the product. Merchants in Nigeria and owners abroad who sell into Nigeria both use this service. Ibadan sellers can walk into Bodija. Others brief on a call.
This is not a brochure with a “shop” button that opens WhatsApp. If that is all you need, you may only need web design.
What a store project includes
Catalogue structure, product templates, shipping and pickup rules you define, and a checkout you can test with a live or sandbox key. We integrate the gateways you already use or are willing to open. We do not invent a processor. You keep the merchant account. We do not hide fees in “we will sort payments later.” If you cannot open a merchant account, say so before we design a cart you cannot take live.
We also agree who uploads products. A store with three items is a different job from a store with three hundred. Photos, prices, and variants delay more launches than colour choices. If you want us to migrate an existing catalogue, we review the export first. If the old store is a pile of Instagram screenshots, we will say the migration is a rewrite.
Redesigns versus first stores
We redesign existing stores when the catalogue is usable and the checkout is the problem. Tolani A, selling from the US, wrote that a new store design led to a 30 percent increase in sales in the first month. That is their figure on their catalogue, recorded on the testimonials page. We will not promise a percentage on a store we have not seen. Your numbers will differ.
A first store still needs a clear offer, shipping rules, and a phone-sized checkout. Paid ads are optional and sit after the store is fast and clear. SEO for category pages is a separate scope on the SEO page. We do not sell “ads plus 500 backlinks” as if they were the cart.
When ecommerce is the wrong service
If you have one service and a WhatsApp number, you may only need web design. If buyers need accounts, vendor roles, or escrow, you may need software. If you want a home-screen app for repeat buyers, that is app development after the store works in a browser.
Test checkout on a mid-range Android phone before you argue about desktop banners. Most Nigerian buyers will never see the banner. They will see a slow image and a form that jumps. We design for that.
Pickup, shipping, and the cart
Say whether buyers collect in Ibadan, whether you ship, and who pays the courier. A cart that asks for a US zip code on a Bodija pickup is not finished. A cart that hides delivery cost until the last step will lose the buyer on a slow phone. We write those rules into the scope before we style the banner.
Variants matter. Size, colour, and “out of stock” have to be true. If the catalogue is a WhatsApp broadcast list, we will photograph and type it into the store only if you pay for that labour. We will not guess prices from an old flyer.
What to send for a store quote
The current URL or a list of products. The payment method you can actually open. Who uploads photos and prices. Where you ship, and whether pickup exists. Which city you operate from. A merchant who cannot open a gateway should not ask us to design a cart for a future account. A merchant with three hundred SKUs and no spreadsheet should not ask for a two-week launch.

After the store is live
You should be able to add a product, change a price, and refund a test order without waiting on us. If you want weekly merchandising, that is a retainer and we will price it. If you want category SEO, that is a later scope. If you want ads, the store has to finish a payment first. Tolani A’s 30 percent figure is their result, not yours. Your result starts with a cart that works.
After launch, admin access transfers once invoices are cleared, as stated in the services agreement. To plan a store, use the contact form and name the city you ship from.
Store work we will decline
We will decline a cart for a merchant who cannot open a gateway. We will decline a three-hundred-SKU migration with no export. We will decline a promise of a sales percentage. We will take a catalogue you can photograph, a shipping rule you can explain, and a checkout you can test. That is ecommerce. Everything else is a different service page or a no.
Frequently asked questions

Yes. One client reported a sales increase after a redesign. We will not promise a percentage on a store we have not seen.
Paid ads are optional. The store itself has to be fast and clear first. SEO for category pages is a separate scope.
Usually no. Finish checkout in the browser first. An app is a later conversation on the app development page.
